GBOROKA is a short film by African Women & Their Stories (A.W.A.T.S.), which highlights feminine unity in Sierra Leone’s Bondo culture while addressing the practice of female circumcision. This partnership is designed to bring awareness to, and advocate for, ending the practice. “GBOROKA” refers to a woman who has not undergone circumcision.
